I’ve moved around quite a bit in my career and to some this may seem like a lack of commitment or an indication that I’m not in it for the “long haul.” To the contrary, I am and have been positioning myself to have a long, engaging career by assembling a set of skills that I both enjoy and am above average at performing.
People often ask me how they can increase their compensation — though that should definitely NOT be the only goal when making career decisions — and get into a position where they feel actualized and rewarded for all their hard work. I give these people the same advice, so I thought I would put pen to paper and share my ideas with my LinkedIn associates.
