A must have to follow the global economy easily.


CNN Twitter Account@CNN: the more general version of CNN money, the twitter handle will provide updates on everything from sports to weather to politics, among other things. If you are looking for the most major of stories, it’s a great account to follow.


NY Times Twitter@nytimes: Follow breaking news from one of the most respected papers in the country. With over 4 million followers,  the New York Times regularly posts contents and attempts to engage with their massive user base.


Forbes Twitter Account@forbes: the bi-weekly magazine has taken to Tweeting to deliver you content and some of the best lists around, including the Forbes 400 (400 richest people). Provides up to date financial information and outstanding articles on most major disciplines of business.


NY Times Business Twitter@nytimesbusiness: the business specific portion of the NY Times will provide you with financial, economic, and business news from a very trusted source.  A real focused account for MBA specific business news, one of my personal favorites out there.


BBC Business News Twitter@BBCBusiness: The British Broadcasting Corporation has set up shop on the popular social network to deliver insight on the global financial markets although there is an occasional skew to deliver news from Britain. A great resource if you’re looking to find valuable international news.


WSJ Twitter@WSJ: The Wall Street Journal’s twitter account allows you free partial access to many articles normally reserved for paid subscribers to the authoritative source. A true leader in providing compelling content that is very readable and purposeful.


HBR Twitter @harvardbiz: Harvard Business Review has taken to Twitter to promote their blog posts, management tips, and interesting stats from the site. Highly reputable source for fun facts and quick tips to help you get ahead.


@theeconomist: Economist TwitterThe weekly London publication covers a wide array of editorial topics intended for a highly educated audience, such as yourself. Dabbles in a little bit of everything, the Economist is a highly regarded source for, as they put it, “intelligence”.
